Beth has been quilting since 1975 and sewing since she was four starting with a kit given to her in kindergarten! Her remarkable quilting career has included the publication of eleven popular and highly-rated books. She has appeared twice on Simply Quilts and filmed several segments with Kaye Wood for her show on PBS. Beth’s original patterns are available in quilt shops around the word. She has even developed printable, wash-away appliqué sheets! Not only is she a highly experienced quilter, Beth is a gifted teacher and has much to offer both the beginner and experienced quilter alike.
Beth has a degree in biological sciences and many credited hours in education classes. She also loves to knit and has been doing so for over forty years. She’s the proud mom of four active boys and supported by the world’s best husband, her high school sweetheart, Kent. She comes to us from Saginaw, Michigan.  Beth’s web address: http://www.applewd.com

Hospitality

September will conclude our "Who brings the snacks?" game. Please bring a snack to the next meeting if you like quilts made with beaded, embellished, sparkly or fringed fabrics. As always if you are bringing a treat, please consider bringing a non-sweet item such as veggies, fruits, nuts, and cheese.
